Leigh - iTutor

Leigh has over 15 years of experience in talent acquisition, including leading teams and building out new strategies. Leigh is a graduate of Columbia University and a Teach For America alum. Leigh joined iTutor after managing a recruiting team at Amazon Web Services. Prior to that, she held various roles at Teach For America, including leading their Professional Recruitment Team and Corps Member Selection Team.

Chassidy is a graduate of Lamar University with a BS in Psychology and a Master’s in Public Health. Currently, she is pursuing a Master’s in Marriage, Family, and Couple Counseling. Chassidy has a background in management, medical sales, academic mentorship, and customer service. She began her career with iTutor in August 2021. Chassidy’s current title is a Recruitment Specialist. Her main role is to co-lead in recruitment strategies to increase the educator talent pool. She facilitates virtual engagement events for iTutor’s internal and external stakeholders.

Nieves joined iTutor as a Junior Instructional Coach in October 2021 after spending five years in the classroom. She taught two years in Washington and three years as a Spanish teacher in Arizona. Nieves has a BS in Business Administration from Baruch College, a Master’s in Bilingual Education from Hunter College, and a Graduate Certificate in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University. As the Recruitment Coordinator, Nieves manages applicant submissions, supports candidates throughout the process, and seeks new talent to join our iTutor Educator Community.

Allie holds 6+ years of talent acquisition experience across multiple industries including education, school leadership, software, and fintech. She has worked in every part of the recruitment funnel from recruitment strategy & marketing to full-cycle recruitment, hiring & onboarding. Allie is a graduate of Auburn University and a Teach For America alumni. Currently, Allie is pursuing her Masters in Business Administration at Emory University, expected May 2024.

Amy began her career as an early childhood education teacher with Teach for America, where she partnered with students, families, and community members to ensure that all of her students were 100% ready for kindergarten. She taught for 5 years in both Washington D.C. and the Las Vegas Valley. After 5 years of leading in the classroom, she transitioned into recruitment, admissions, and the recruitment operations space, primarily working to bring new teachers into the education field. At iTutor, she focuses on efficiency and operations within the recruitment process.
