iTutor Study Groups - Help: Netscape Navigator

Netscape Navigator/Communicator version 4.x is a completely different browser from subsequent versions which are based on the Mozilla 5 rendering engine. The latest "Version 4" is 4.75. There is no Netscape "Version 5". Netscape jumped their version numbering from "Version 4.75" to "Version 6" even though Version 6 uses the Mozilla 5 rendering engine (Gecko). Netscape Navigator/Communicator version 6 is more standards compliant than previous versions and thus operates much more like Microsoft Internet Explorer than it does like predecessor versions of Netscape Navigator/Communicator. Version 2: Does not understand DHTML and stylesheets - Untested with iTutor Study Groups. Not recommended. Version 3: Does not understand DHTML and stylesheets - Untested with iTutor Study Groups. Not recommended. Version 4: Forums are compatible. However, "Equation Viewing" windows do not position items correctly and many symbols are not rendered correctly. Also, Drag and drop equation editing does not work. Not recommended for Equation viewing/editing, otherwise its fine. Version 5: No such animal. Version 6: "Equation Editing" does not support Drag and Drop. Otherwise, Version 6 is compatible with iTutor Study Groups. NOTE: Netscape Version 6 is still very much a new product and has lots of bugs (having nothing to do with iTutor Study Groups). Use at your own risk with all websites.
